Prospects For Growth In A Capacity-Constrained Economy

The popular view was that ending of the most intense phase of the pandemic and reopening of borders would produce firm economic recovery. But instead growth is slowing. I will examine the reasons for this, the risk of recession, and the rapid speed with which monetary policy is being tightened and how this is relevant to the housing market correction from absurd highs. Will the brain drain deplete NZ of valuable staffing resources and realistically how many mid to upper income migrants will come down our way in a world hungry for their services?

The Future Of Hybrid Work

Auckland, Hamilton and Tauranga

As the safe return to the physical workplace becomes a reality, businesses that have experienced the many advantages of remote work are transitioning to distributed, “work from anywhere” organizations. More employees are using more devices, accessing more applications running across more clouds, and working from more locations—all while expecting a more fluid and consistent experience.

To keep pace, organizations will need to support these experiences at an unprecedented scale without compromising security. A comprehensive, integrated strategy is required to address both security and experience in the permanently hybrid workplace. The VMware Anywhere Workspace approach addresses end user, IT and security challenges by providing exceptional multi-modal employee experiences, enabling automated workspace management, and securing the distributed edge. The solution takes a holistic approach combining industry-leading Workspace One UEM, VMware Horizon, VMware Workspace Security & Digital Employee Experience solutions working harmoniously across any application on any cloud to any device.
